Sara Arranz studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country and joined ESS in November 2015 as a Computer Scientist inside the Detector Group.
Since her arrival, Sara has been involved in several tasks, including LateX/BibteX support with publications and helping with Geant4 simulations, comparing the obtained results with analytical results. Further to this, she has acquired experience with Mercurial, increased her Neutron Physics knowledge and she is also learning Python language, as well as refreshing her C++ skills.
In November 2016, Sara joined the detector team as a mechanical engineer, and is currently doing design work with CATIA.
