Vendula Maulerova

Vendula joined ESS in the summer of 2017 when she was offered a summer job for the Detector group. From September 2017 she continues working part time. Vendula works primarily with the SONNIG group at the Source Testing Facility. Her main task is to provide technical help with the various detector setups as well as helping to solve relevant software issues. Over the summer she developed simulations of the water aquarium used for shielding sources at the Source Testing Facility. She is familiar with the ESS framework and geant 4. Besides software tasks, she is also very happy to get her hands dirty with building, screwing, sawing or anything else that needs to be done in order to keep the facility running smoothly.
