The final test and commissioning of the Cryo-Compressor Building (G04) began in preparation for hand-off to ESS at the end of the month. The in-situ sections of the gas pipelines between the Cryo building and the Cold Box (in G02) are now being laid, and the ESS Accelerator Division is installing its Stub mockup in the tunnel. Concrete casting moved forward at the Target Station Monolith (D02) , the Beamline Gallery (E02) and other ‘E’ buildings , while the entire Gallery Building (G02) is now subject to MEP works. This week also marked the completion of foundation work for all currently accessible areas of the site. And in the first sign of spring, a new building has been excavated—the Sprinkler Building (H10) .
