Target
The temporary overhead crane for the Target high bay area has arrived on site and will be installed shortly. The crane beams have already been lifted up to the high bay. The crane can lift up to 65 tonnes, which will prove useful when lifting in the Target Monolith vessel early next year - totalling 80 tonnes over two lifts!
Accelerator
Two of the labs will be “ready for handover” and all production completed, by the end of the month. All remaining interior works, including some paint touch-ups, installation of the last few ceiling tiles, some tests and inspections, and final cleaning of the two labs will have been completed.
General
The second of four base slabs were cast in the Waste Building last week. This means the form and reinforcement of the walls can begin, at the same time as completing the last two slabs for the floor of the building.
