March for Science - Lund

The largest event for science advocacy in history: the March for Science took place for the first time last year, bringing together 1,07 million participants in over 600 cities around the world, from Washington to Abuja.

The initiative originates from the USA, and involves scientists and the public coming together to highlight the importance of science and using research-based knowledge in society.

Last year, participants from Skåne travelled to the closest march, in Copenhagen, but this year Skåne will have its own March for Science. The march will be held in Lund, walking from MAX IV to ESS and back, passing Science Village Scandinavia along the way.

When: 14 April 2018, 13:00 - 15:00

Where: We meet at MAX IV (Fotongatan 2), walk to ESS and then back to MAX IV
