Texts, Drugs and Dinosaurs - Neutrons Show the Way

How has science changed our lives? How will neutrons help us meet the challenges of the future? And what's it like to work in an international science facility under construction? This talk will take you on a trip through archaeology, life science and magnetism, and end up at a huge construction site.

Partner in Focus: INFN-LNS Ion Source Delivery

Produced by the BrightnESS project, this video highlights the delivery of the ESS Accelerator's ion source and low-energy beam transport line (LEBT) components to Lund. The ion source and LEBT were designed, built and commissioned by the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics' National Laboratory of the South (INFN-LNS) in Catania, Sicily, an ESS in-kind partner.

Partner In Focus: Budapest Neutron Centre

Produced by the BrightnESS project, this video describes some of the work being done at the Budapest Neutron Centre on behalf of ESS, including the moderator test beamline prototype, the simulation and testing of boron-based detector applications, and beamline shielding solutions.
