In the framework of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January-June 2023), several events related to Science and Innovation were organised in Lund. ESS was proud and delighted to take part, both with active participation in conferences and workshops, and by welcoming participants to the ESS site.
On 20 June participants to the conference on “The Potential of Research Data: How Research Infrastructures Provide New Opportunities and Benefits for Society” enjoyed a tour of the facility and talks by Anna Panagopoulou, European Commission ERA & Innovation, Mats Persson, Minister of Education of Sweden, Director General Helmut Schober and ESS scientists and engineers, showcasing the latest progress in the construction of ESS.
