The European Spallation Source (ESS) requires a service agreement with a partner company to operate and maintain the electrical equipment within the ESS facility. This includes all high voltage equipment (transformers and switchboards) and all low voltage equipment. The company will also be required to operate a 24/7 on call electrical operations team.

This Framework Agreement outlines the services required for the handling, moving, lifting, rigging, and installation of equipment and/or systems to be installed at the European Spallation Source (ESS) facilities. This procurement is divided into three Lots as described below:

Lot 2, Accredited Body (AB): estimated use approximately 500h/year
Lot 3, Accredited Laboratory (AL): estimated use approximately 400h/year
The duration of the resulting framework agreement(s) is two (2) years

Service Agreement for waste mangement at ESS Site.
Relatively large amounts of waste will need to be handled within ESS.
In addition to waste generated during normal operations, the installation work that might take place a few year more will also generate large amounts of waste. The purpose of this procurement is to award a service agreement with one contractor for the performance of a waste management program.

No handling of radioactive waste is covered by this procurement.
